Catholic school is a valuable investment, which is why we created the Transfer Tuition Grant program in 2015 to welcome even more students into our schools. These financial assistance grants are available to public, private, home school or charter school students who transfer into a participating Diocese of Joliet Catholic school.

Upon acceptance, elementary students in grades 1-7 receive $1,500 in total tuition grants ($1,000 in year one and $500 in year two). High school students in grades 10 and 11 receive $3,000 in total tuition grants ($2,000 in year one and $1,000 in year two).

The following restrictions apply:

• Students transferring from another Catholic school in the Diocese of Joliet, Archdiocese of Chicago, the Diocese of Rockford, Peoria, Springfield and Belleville are not eligible.
• Students must follow the established admission policies at each school’s discretion.
• Each school determines how and when the transfer grant is applied to a student’s account.
• Please refer to the list of participating schools below and call the school for availability. Depending upon the enrollment in each school, space may not be available in all grades, and not all grades may qualify for the grant.
